Summary

The Vice-President TA Strategic Alignment is responsible for helping to drive the Talent Acquisition communication and change agenda within the function and across the enterprise, ensuring alignment to our strategy across key stakeholders. This role drives communications strategies for key Talent Acquisition programs and milestones to drive clarity of direction and translate that into narratives designed to build understanding with a variety of key stakeholders. This role is also responsible for culture building activities designed to create engagement and sense of one TA team.

Position Summary

The Vice-President Strategic Alignment is responsible for helping to drive the Talent Acquisition communication and change agenda within the function and across the enterprise, ensuring alignment to our strategy across key stakeholders. This role drives communications strategies for key Talent Acquisition programs and milestones to drive clarity of direction and translate that into narratives designed to build understanding with a variety of key stakeholders. This role is also responsible for culture building activities designed to create engagement and sense of one TA team.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Advisor

• Provide executive communication, strategic advisory, and alignment support to the SVP, Talent Acquisition

• Facilitate and own strategy and execution for key alignment events across Talent Acquisition, Sales, Marketing, and back-office

Driving Alignment – Inside TA

• Drive knowledge, understanding, and alignment around key TA Transformation products, tools and ways of working (Paradox, automation and AI, strategic talent attraction, renewable talent pipelines, business-centric support model)

• Align key team communication channels around One TA strategy and editorial calendar to spotlight key priorities across organization, and guide communications, metrics & reporting

Driving Alignment – Outside TA

• Align key communication channels around One TA strategy and editorial calendar to spotlight key priorities across organization, and guide communications, metrics & reporting

• Partner with Strategic Communications to develop end-to-end communications plan in support of the organization narrative; providing strategic recommendations to SMEs and leadership on how to best elevate milestones and stories as appropriate and ensuring all key stakeholders are informed of progress and wins

• Work closely with key functional partners to elevate the One TA Talent Acquisition Transformation narrative outside the function

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct Reports

  • Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources

Indirect Reports

  • May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

  • Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job

  • Travel up to 5%

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Field of Study/Area of Experience: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in change, organization development and / or communications-related field

• 5-10 years of experience in operational leadership roles, with an element of internal communications and driving alignment and change

• At least 4-6 years of experience managing complex projects from conception to delivery related to Operations with a heavy bent on Change Management

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Proven leadership and ability to influence and work with Sr. Leadership and multi-disciplined teams

• Ability to navigate, orchestrate, and work through complex issues with a strategic, tactical, and fresh perspective

• Proven ability to develop and implement alignment and execution strategies for key initiatives.

• Proven ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and support multiple high priority work streams

• High level of strategic focus and perspective, driving teams to deliver

• Significant value placed on working knowledge of and navigating within and across Advantage Solutions

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
