Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Accounting cycle (Period end Financial Statements, Accounts Payable, Financial Forecasts, Financial Sales Reporting) for the Company's Managed Service clients.

  • Support a strong internal control audit environment, through the performance of monthly balance sheet reconciliation for the Company and its client base.

  • Complete daily cash receipts and treasury entries for all Commission clients

  • Drive Business Analytics and Insights for both the Company and Clients

  • Manage the Company end to end Client bill back process

Qualifications:

  • University Degree (Canadian) and CPA Accounting Designationrequired;Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 3-5 Years of experience in Consumer packaged goods or retail services

  • Research & Analyzing Skills

  • Demonstrated Ability to Provide Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Decision Making Skills; Ability to Exercise Sound Judgement

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the Accounting cycle (Period end Financial Statements, Accounts Payable, Financial Forecasts, Financial Sales Reporting) for the Company's Managed Service clients.

  • Support a strong internal control audit environment, through the performance of monthly balance sheet reconciliation for the Company and its client base.

  • Complete daily cash receipts and treasury entries for all Commission clients

  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and balance

  • Prepare daily entry and follow-up on client remittance discrepancies

  • Work with cash application team on daily resolution of any discrepancies

  • Drive Business Analytics and Insights for both the Company and Clients:

  • Trade Management effectiveness

  • Cost Savings/Productivity initiatives

  • Insights and analytics to business partners on achieving plan/forecast

  • Identify risk and opportunities to plan/forecast with recommended action plans

  • Manage the Company end to end Client bill back process:

  • Work with internal teams on identifying programs that are re-billable

  • Develop invoicing with supporting documents

  • Complete A/R follow-up on aging receivables

  • Support Continuous Improvement Projects

  • Support the development of year over year productivity projects

  • Assist internal stakeholders within enhancing new service opportunities

  • Review legacy processes to understand non-value activities and provide efficiency recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

Education Level: (Required): University Degree (Canadian) and CPA Accounting Designation

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Degree Program/Major (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration, or related field)

3-5 Years of experience in Consumer packaged goods or retail services

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
