Media Performance Analyst - Remote

Advantage Solutions is seeking a Media Performance Analyst for its Integrated Connections team. In this role, you will be responsible forblending strong analytics to identify data driven insights andsupport initiatives that contribute to the goals and success of client campaigns within the digital media space.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create client-facing reports which detail media performance results and articulate reasons for specific results

  • Provide analytics-based recommendations to improve future media performance

  • Establish self as thought leader in digital analytics and ad-technology concepts / methods / tools

  • Ensure that analytics efforts lead to clear, compelling and actionable insights; constructed through analytics delivery

  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes around measurement, reporting and analytics

  • Develop automation efficiencies across client reporting requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 4 years media planning/analysis, with emphasis on digital media

  • Thorough understanding of digital media performance measures, e.g. awareness, impressions, clicks, etc.

  • Solid experience with and understanding of Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager

  • Proficiency in clearly explaining complex technical ideas to multiple kinds of audiences both verbally and in writing

  • Experience creating and delivering client-facing presentations

Position Summary

The Market Research Analyst monitors market conditions in local, regional, or national markets to determine potential sales growth opportunities for Integrated Marketing services. Conducts research and analysis involving competitors, pricing, sales, and methods of marketing, existing and potential customer preferences, economic conditions, advertising, distribution, and other factors that may influence futures sales. Analyzes data and recommends specific actions based on findings. Establishes research methodology and design format for data gathering, such as surveys, opinion polls, and/or questionnaires. Examines and analyzes statistical data to forecast future marketing trends. Gathers data on competitors and analyzes prices, sales and methods of marketing and distribution. Collects data on consumer preferences and buying habits. Prepares and presents reports and graphic illustrations of findings.

Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in applicable field

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
